How the meter works

Model: gpt-4o; Every exchange, every pack.
Minimum to send: 2,000 tokens; Ensures a full reply can be paid for.
Floor per exchange: 250 tokens; Applies only to very short exchanges.
Reply cap: 1,500 tokens; The most a single reply can cost to write.

Context matters. The last 20 messages of a conversation are re-read with every prompt, so long conversations cost more per turn than fresh ones. Starting a new conversation is the cheapest way to change subject.

Terms of the balance

Tokens are usable only within Mytalka.
Tokens carry no cash value and cannot be redeemed.
Tokens are non-transferable between accounts.
Purchases are final and non-refundable.
Tokens expire twelve months after purchase.
A failed model request is never charged.
